The StructureScan® 3D imaging device scans underwater terrain and fish-bearing structure to create a high-resolution, 180-degree, three-dimensional view below your boat. Thanks to these unique images, anglers gain a better understanding of the location of fish and structure in relation to their vessel. Photo-quality 3D views are displayed on the Simrad NSS/NSO evo2 and Lowrance HDS Gen3 series of equipment when used in conjunction with the SideScan 3D Skimmer® transducer and StructureScan® 3D module.

Wide-area, high-definition (HD) 3D scanning
Contours below the surface of the water can be displayed on both sides of the boat (up to 183 meters to port and starboard) in stunningly detailed HD images. StructureScan® 3D offers multiple views, including 2D DownScan Imaging™ and StructureScan® HD, as well as new realistic 3D images. Using the preset virtual viewpoint angles or the ScanTrack™ tilt, roll and roll control mode, you can adjust the view and perspective below your boat. Combine HD and 3D views to get better information about the relationship between fish and cover, and to find fishing grounds more effectively.

Leading Edge™ Scan Reference
The Leading Edge™ scan reference provides a clear graphical illustration of the sonar beams as they intersect with bottom contours. The depth and range of the last scanned areas are shown as red fan-shaped markings directly under the boat. Leading Edge also includes a depth scale that displays a greater level of depth detail as you zoom in, providing better perception of target depth.

SelectScan™ Target Identification
Enjoy a 50% higher quality lateral scan image thanks to a detection probe with twice the number of receiving elements and a unique transducer design that protects scan data from interference to ensure the best possible image clarity.

Improved vertical control
The vertical enhancement feature is a scale that allows the user to highlight significant vertical dips and contour changes on the screen for easy identification in relation to the surrounding underwater terrain. Vertical enhancement increases visibility of even the smallest depth changes.

waypoint overlay
Reviewing fishing grounds, structures, and other underwater features is made easy with the waypoint overlay feature. Use the waypoint keypad to save a waypoint of the vessel's location, or switch to cursor mode to save a waypoint over specific targets, covers, or schools of fish.

Automatic 3D image setup
Optimized 3D imaging settings are adjusted based on the default settings of NSS/NSO evo2 or HDS Gen3 and the StructureScan 3D module. Surface lightness and contrast settings can be adjusted using the on-screen slider. The Surface Clarity option reduces on-screen clutter by lowering the receiver's sensitivity near the surface. Contrast brightens/darkens the color palette to make it easier to see fish and structure.

Ethernet connectivity
Ethernet ports allow up to three network devices to be connected.
