Airmar's Chirp-ready low profile transducer models are the perfect complement for smaller boats, such as the central consoles. The SS75M transducer offers up to 50 kHz total bandwidth in one single installation. It shows an incredible detail of the background in medium and shallow depths up to 274 m (900').
SS75M transmits through the following bandwidth:
- Average frequency 80 to 130 kHz
Transducers Tilted ElementTMhave the fixed element at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0° inside the housing. The transducer is installed almost to the hull. The inclination of the element corrects the fall of the helmet by guiding the beam directly down. This ensures the maximum echo return to the transducer for more accurate depth readings.
The SS75M is available in three tilted elements models:
- Fixed tilted version of 20° for helmet trousers from 16° to 24°
- 12° fixed incline for helmet trousers from 8° to 15°
- 0° fixed tilted version for helmet trousers from 0° to 7°
Features
- Rapid response water depth and temperature sensor
- 600 W with maximum depth performance of 274 m (900')
- Average frequency: 80 to 130 kHz
- Width of beam from 24° to 16°
- The average frequency offers better performance in shallow waters, background details and deeper performance than a high frequency band
- The low profile housing provides a good resolution at high speed when properly installed
- Stainless steel housing for use with phased, planned or displacement helmet
