CUERPO MONOCOQUE

The Monocoque structure has an aluminum frame designed to resist torsions and flexes while it is thinner and optimizes the internal space for the control wheel and the mechanics. With the savings of space achieved without screws, the size of the gear system relative to the volume of the body has been extended to technical limits. The largest diameter control wheel now occupies 85% of the total space of the Monocoque frame. This technology optimizes the advantages of Concept LT, both in terms of weight gain and power. The Certate LT 2019 adopts an aluminum body with a high processing precision and a longer service life.

TOUGH DIGIGIGEAR

This gear technology provides greater smoothness of rotation and durability. When fishing, the pleasure is at its peak from the first turns of the crank. From the slightest tension in the crank with the fingertips, the rotor begins to rotate. The robust Digigear control wheel is designed by cold forging and cutting using a high-precision numerical control machine. This engineering provides infinitely silent rotation.

MAGSEALED

Fishermen facing marine elements, sorcery and other corrosive environments demand that the reel yield be maintained in all circumstances. The sealing of a rotating structure like the rotor is a challenge that Daiwa was able to face in 2010 and optimize year after year. To seal the rotary structure, the rotor, against the body, the seal is made of a magnetic oil called MagSealed. This oil is frozen in a magnetic field and prevents intrusion of water and dust in the mechanism. The Certate LT 2019 has a one-piece structure without welding or caps and has a high pondering. This is the reason why the MagSealed is also placed on the pinion and on the pick-up roller to get a reel globally waterproof to water projections. The coil structure has been revised to increase its impermeability compared to the previous series (Certate 2016).
