The average frequency offers the correct combination of coverage under the boat, extended depth range and the ability to produce returns of clean and accurate goals and structures in medium and deep waters.Operating in a frequency range of 85 to 135 kHz, this transducer detects fish at medium depths of up to 457 m (1500') and offers an ultra clear target resolution.
The SS175M transmits through the following bandwidth:
- Average frequency 85 to 135 kHz
Transducers Tilted ElementTMhave the fixed element at an angle of 20°, 12° or 0° inside the housing.Because the transducer is installed almost to the hull, the inclination corrects the dead point of the hull.Orient the ceramic element horizontally to ensure that the echo returns to the transducer to the maximum.
The SS175M is available in three tilted elements models:
- Fixed tilted version of 20° for helmet trousers from 16° to 24°
- 12° fixed incline for helmet trousers from 8° to 15°
- 0° fixed tilted version for helmet trousers from 0° to 7°
Features
- Water depth and temperature sensor
- 1 kW with a maximum depth of 457 m (1500')
- Average frequency: 85 to 135 kHz
- Width of beam from 16° to 11°
- 50 kHz total bandwidth of a transducer
- Average frequency provides excellent surface depth to medium, bottom detail and fish separation and objectives
- The low profile housing provides a good resolution at high speed when properly installed
- Stainless steel housing for use in phased, planned or displacement helmet
