BatteryLife: Intelligent Battery Management
If a solar charging controller is not capable of recharging the battery at full capacity in a day, what happens is that the battery cycle changes continuously between the "partially charged" and "final discharge" states. This mode of operation (without periodic full recharge) will destroy a lead-acid battery in weeks or months.
The batterylife algorithm will control the battery charge status and, if necessary, it will increase the level of disconnection of the load (that is, will disconnect the load before) until the solar energy collected is enough to be for Reload the battery until almost 100%.
