A multiplus, with ESS functionality (energy storage system)
The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the Multiplus and Multigrid.
It has all the features of the multiplus and also an optional external current sensor that increases the function of PowerControl and Powerassist to 32 A.
It also has all the features of the multigrid with an integrated anti-spell and an increasing list of countries that have already approved.
PowerControl and Powerassist - Increase in network capacity or generator power
A maximum current value of the generator or network can be established. The Multi will take into account the other charges of AC and use the remaining current to charge the battery, thus avoiding overloading the generator or the network (PowerControl function).
Powerassist takes the principle of PowerControl to another dimension. When a power peak is required for a short period of time, as it often happens, the multi will immediately compensate the possible power lack of the generator, from the port socket or the battery power. When the load is reduced, the remaining power is used to recharge the battery.
ESS: Energy storage system
The Multiplus can be used in photovoltaic systems, connected to the electrical network or not, and in other alternative energy systems.
There are different possible system configurations, more detailed information can be consulted in the ESS Design and Configuration Manual.
Track and control in situ
There are several options available: Battery Monitor, Multi Control Digital Panel, Control Color Panel, Bluetooth (Accurate Control Color or Venus GX) or Laptop or Desktop Computer.
Remote configuration and tracking
Install a Control or Venus GX panel to connect to the Internet.
The data can be stored and displayed for free on the WEB VRM (Victron Remote Management).
Once connected to Ethernet, the systems can be accessed remotely and the configuration can be changed.
