Both the box and the connectors comply with the IP67 standard, so it can be installed outside with the cables connected. Dust resistance: Maximum level and guarantees that the terminal is 100% dust-tight, so it will not enter under any circumstances. Water resistance: Level of protection that withstands complete immersion in water for 30 minutes at a depth of one meter even with the connectors.

Important battery information:
12V Li-Ion rechargeable batteries cannot be charged using a normal 12V transformer, nor simply by plugging them into normal 12V outlets such as a car or boat outlet directly.
For charging, the specific charger must be used, which normally has a two-color status LED (red/green). When plugging the charger into the power, the red LED lights up, and when connecting the battery to charge, the LED turns green while charging. Battery charging is complete when the charger LED turns red again. In battery models that have an ignition switch, for the battery to charge it must be in the ON position.
Li-Ion batteries are slow discharge and can be used for LED strips, fishfinders, etc. But because they are slow-discharging, they are NOT suitable for high energy needs, such as electric reel motors, drive motors or halogen lights, since they can be left unused. For this type of products, AGM batteries are recommended.
