Shimano Nasci 4000FB Reel
For the first time a P4 reel has HAGANE and CoreProtect equipment. These additions increase the resistance of the mechanism and guarantee long-lasting smoothness in winding, even under the most extreme conditions. X-SHIP increases the efficiency and smoothness of the reel making the Nasci FB suitable for many fishing situations.
The Shimano Nasci FB Front Drag Reel is the first Shimano P4 reel to offer a Hagane gear and also uses technologies normally found on much more expensive Shimano reels.
•Coreprotect: offers great resistance to water, without creating a sensation of heavy rotation. For this, the three fundamental areas of the reel are worked on.
The brake: a protective coating of the surface is used, which causes the disintegration of the water. This beading action prevents water from flowing into the small cracks where the mechanisms line up.
The body area: uses 12 different seals and a flat body gasket with surface treatment.
The line roller: designed as a sealed piece that provides water resistance and low maintenance. Does not require oil for maintenance.
•G Free Body: developed to move the center of gravity of the reel closer to the rod and therefore closer to the angler's hand. This reduces fatigue and improves casting comfort.
•X-Ship Gears: Provide smooth, yet strong operation even under extreme pressure.
