Bait developed following an ancient fishing technique practiced in Japan. It is based on the handling of a natural bait (normally a shrimp) as if it were an artificial bait. To use it, we will mount the bait (a shrimp or a small squid) on the fixed hook and with the assist attached to the head. Thanks to its tapered shape, our Tenya is perfect for vertical fishing, taking advantage of the drift of the boat. We will drop the bait to the bottom, lifting it up with long, smooth jerks to let it go back down again. Snapper, sea bream, sea bream, haddock and bottom fish will be our main prey.
Mounted bait for slow jigging type vertical fishing composed of a round head and flat on the sides, in which the inner hole through which the line passes is asymmetrical and mobile skirts mounted with a double Assist. This means that even on days when there is no current without hardly moving the rod, the bait makes erratic movements.
