Some define it as "the walker". It is a small barracuda, born from the need of some spinners who were looking for a predator that, in its fry stage, is a real delicacy for all kinds of predators. Conceived to catch trophy fish, Espetrón was shown from the first moment as a special lure that makes a difference. If you're after the big saltwater hunters, Espetron can't be missing from your box.

Love at first sight
Espetrón shows its potential in any condition: whether in flat, crystal clear waters, on rough days or in dark waters, this little wonder is a safe bet. His story confirms this: in small meetings of experienced spinners, Espetrón always got the best pieces. In two editions of the Spinning Open in the Ebro Delta, once again Espetrón deceived the largest animals, allowing their owners to win the prize for the largest piece. And all this while fishing on the surface, outperforming sunken lures -a priori- that are more effective. Whoever trusts Espetrón and proves its effectiveness, is hooked for life by the unforgettable attacks it provides, and since that day knows that to face a day of fishing on the surface without it is to go into battle unarmed.
Size Matters
Seeing its size, many fishermen think that such a large lure is not going to work for them in their usual fishing boats... but they are completely wrong, because a sea bass weighing just one kilo has no qualms about gobbling up a 20 cm baby barracuda. It is true that Espetrón was designed for bluefish and palometón from the Mediterranean, but our friends from the Bay of Biscay -who normally opt for samples of 9 to 12 cm- speak wonders about it, to the point of verifying how, fishing on the surface, Espetrón can be remarkably more effective than your usual lures. They were the first to baptize it as "the walker", a deadly surface weapon with walk the dog action that keeps 80% of its body permanently below the surface, thus showing itself as a much more attractive and vulnerable prey in the eyes of predators. . Its sinuous movement activates the predatory instinct of sea bass, bluefish, dolphinfish, amberjack, pomfret, tuna, skewers and other species that will not hesitate to take this magnificent lure to their mouths. Our great friend Antonio Varcasia gives proof of this in distant settings, where Espetrón displayed all its seductive power in the same way that it had already seduced the local fishermen. If Espetrón rewards you with special fish, it is because it is a special lure.
