How are Chilanco water treatment pills used?

To use Chilanco pills, simply dissolve a pill in the water tank, stir well the solution and wait 30 minutes before you consume the water. Each tablet is designed to purify up to 200 litres of water. For smaller deposits, adjust the dose proportionally.

How long are the pills and how should they be stored?

The pills have an approximate useful life of 3 years from the date of manufacture, which is at the bottom of the boat. To ensure its effectiveness, they must be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct light and heat.

How should I adjust the dose for deposits of different sizes?

Each Chilanco tablet is designed to purify 200 liters of water. For smaller deposits, simply divide the tablet proportionally: for example, use half pill for 100 liters or a 50 liter tablet. Always make sure the water is well mixed and wait 30 minutes before you consume.

What happens if I leave the deposit half full between uses?

If you plan to leave the deposit half full, make sure the water is well treated before saving it. Chilanco pills help prevent the formation of algae and bacteria, but it is important to keep the deposit clean and perform a treatment every time it is filled with new water to ensure potability.
