The S5100 has three fully independent channels to provide high resolution CHIRP probe coverage in different depth ranges. Combine up to three transducers to provide the perfect coverage for any fishing style. It detects small or compact cardumes, locates thermoclins and analyzes specific depths in a very simple way.
Up to three transducers to achieve definitive visibility
The S5100 is our first probe module with three fully independent probe channels, capable of providing real and simultaneous coverage of up to three different depth intervals with exceptional performance at each interval. Connect three single-channel transducers, or one bi-channel and another mono-channel, to create the perfect sound coverage for the areas in which you fish and for the species you intend to catch. Thanks to the fact that the three probe channels are completely independent, it is possible to visualize different frequency ranges at the same time in a split screen design on a single monitor.
Increased white resolution and better coverage
CHIRP technology uses frequency sweeping pulses to provide a better goal resolution and greater noise rejection compared to a traditional monofrequency probe. With the advanced CHIRP technology of the S5100 module, you will see clearly to the bottom, without medium water noise or echoes. The S5100 is also compatible with Airmar's wide-angle CHIRP transducers, which provide better coverage of the upper water column and are the perfect device for locating pelagic species. Large-angle transducers are also useful in shallow waters, where traditional narrow beam angles offer limited background coverage. A wider coverage area not only streamlines the search, but facilitates the detection of fish targets.
Compatibility with screens using "plug-and-play"
The S5100 can be used to add probe functions to a Simrad modular display system, or to provide additional probe functions to multifunction screens or fishing probe that already incorporate probe technology. High-speed Ethernet connectivity allows easy installation anywhere on the boat, on boats of all sizes.
