The essential Saltiga evolves and brings together the latest Daiwa technologies at the service of strong fishing. To meet the needs of all fishermen, a new system of sizes has been applied to the Saltiga 2020, with two types of handles also proposed.

Improved durability

The Saltiga 2020 frame benefits from Daiwa's latest innovations: its single mechanized symmetrical monocoque body structure provides the reel with a greater pondering. Totally built in aluminum, increases the strength of the frame. The control wheel encapsulated in the frame is wider (46 mm) and thicker (8.7 mm) than the previous version of the Saltiga (2015), while it is lighter thanks to its composition in G1. To limit erosion, the reel is painted with 5 overlapping layers: anodized, antistatic paint, printing, painting and varnish. The Air Rotor aluminum is stiffer than the ZAION carbon and more powerful, so the pick-up arm is more resistant. On both sides of the control wheel, two MagSealed bearings ensure fluidity and pondering in the Saltiga. We found the Mag Oil oil on the pinion and on the pick-up roller.

For strong fishing with total tranquility

The ATD brake system (Automatic Tournament Drag) is now composed of 14 elements by the Saltiga 6, 2015, which makes the Jump 2020 ten times more powerful and durable than its predecessor. The brake button has also been redesigned: it gains in ergonomics thanks to its expansion of 42%. Like the button cap and brake collar (two internal components), the brake button is aluminum. This allows heat transfer and dissipation that ensures the fluidity and efficiency of the Saltiga. To regulate the brake accurately, the sound of the click has intensified. Ideal for measuring with sporting fish, the round or oval aluminum fist offers a powerful and comfortable grip. Always with the aim of maximizing the pleasure of fishing, the Saltiga 2020 is equipped with a LC-ABS coil (Long Cast) that ensures the smooth exit of the line and reduces the risk of wigs. Another practical detail of the Saltiga 2020 is in the pick-up, whose opening and closing are controlled by a mechanism that prevents the reel from turning into full lance.

A new sized baremo

For the sake of consistency with small spinning reels, the Saltiga 2020 range adopts a new sized bareme: from 8000 (corresponding to size 4500 in the Saltiga 2015) to 20000 (formerly size 8000).

With this new range, the Saltiga takes even further the performance limits thanks to the high technologies that equip it. It's only for fishermen to have it in hand and beat their records.
